This one had gotten away from the owners. Not their fault… life happens, and a yard does not wait for you.
Started knee-high. Weeds through the beds, growth right up the fence line, the sort of thing where you cannot really see where the lawn stops and the border starts.
A cleanup like this is not one pass. First pass knocks the height off. Second pass gets down to what is actually living under there, and that is when you find out what you have got — in this case more lawn than they thought. Then it is edging, clearing the beds by hand, and hauling.
The hauling is the part people forget about. All that green has to go somewhere, and it is loads, not bags.
Finished ankle-height with the beds clear and the fence line visible again. It changes how the whole house looks from the street, which is usually not why people call but is always what they mention after.
If your yard has gotten ahead of you, it is fixable. Give me a call and I will come look at it.
